Disney plus hotstar now support Dolby Atmos

Disney plus Hotstar is one of the leading OTT platforms in India. Disney+ Hotstar now has 50.1 million paid subscribers. 

The last year they already support 4K,  HDR, Dolby Vision & With Dolby 5.1.

Not like Netflix Hotstar even support HDR Dolby Vision in the 1080p plan.

Now the new revolution is Disney plus Hotstar Steaming in Dolby Atmos. 12th Man Malayalam movie is the first movie that supports Dolby Atmos in Hotstar.

Hotstar uses Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC3) Codec at 448kpbs bitrate in Dolby 5.1 joint object-based sound. 

Not like Netflix Dolby Atmos and Vision support even a 1080p plan

Other OTT platforms like Netflix, SunNXT, and Zee5 (from the RRR movie) in India also support Dolby Atmos.

Disney India also telecasting Dolby Atmos in Star Sports 1HD, and Star Sports Hindi HD 1 in Atmos. You can watch this in either Airtel DTH or TATA Play DTH.
